UnLimited Quartet consists of tenor, Monique Manifold, lead, Kim Vaughn, baritone, Karen Kuisel and bass, Tomi McEvoy. UnLimited began in December 2010 when the four friends got together to sing A Christmas Song on the San Diego Chorus’ holiday show. With the exception of Monique, each of them was singing a new voice part. Kim had been singing bass in her previous quartet and is the director of the chorus. Karen is the lead section leader and assistant director, Tomi sings baritone and Monique is the tenor section leader. What a happy surprise when it turned out that the new voice parts were the right combination to bring home the Regional Quartet Champion medal a few short months later. Both Kim (High Society, Savvy, a cappella Gold) and Tomi (a cappella Gold) have International Quartet Champion medals. Monique has several Regional Quartet Champion medals (ConTempo, Affinity). This is the first medal for Karen and she is very proud of winning in a new voice part. The quartet will compete for the International title in Houston in October, 2011. All members of Summer Breeze sing and perform with the award winning San Diego Chorus (SDSA). Lead singer, Cherie Peters, was Team Coordinator when SDSA won their gold medal at the International Competition in 2001 and has been a member of Sweet Adelines International (SAI) for 25 years. Denise Brinkerhoff is the assistant Bass Section leader and has 15 years of SAI experience. Heather Edwards has just completed 20 years with SAI and is a past Tenor Section leader. Ann Koral comes to us with 33 years of SAI membership and is presently the Baritone Section Leader. We are available for performances including birthdays, anniversaries and singing telegrams

This quartet has been together since March, 2000. We have a combined total of over 75 years of singing four-part a cappella style.
